We are extremely pleased to invite you to participate in SRM Science 2015. We are looking forward to welcoming more than 300 professionals and students from a wide variety of science and technology backgrounds.
There are a number of ways that you can be involved in this conference. Firstly, come along, listen to the talks, ask questions and get involved in the discussions! We want to hear your opinions and learn about your ideas.
The second way to be involved is to submit an A0-sized poster on one of the four conference themes: climate modelling; atmospheric chemistry; engineering systems; and impacts, implications and consequences. Poster submissions should be sent in pdf form to email@example.com by Friday February 27, 2015. They will then be printed and displayed in the Engineering Department, for discussion during tea and lunch breaks. Please remember to specify in your email which theme your poster relates to. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept posters submitted after February 27, nor can we accept posters that do not relate to one of the conference themes.
The final way to be involved is to give a presentation on your research during one of the conference sessions. If you would like to be considered for this, please send a 350-word abstract to firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday December 1, 2014, stating clearly what session your abstract is intended for. Please note that as there are no parallel sessions in this conference, the number of presentations we can accept is limited to five speakers per session and only the highest-quality submissions will be accepted. We regret that we will not be able to accept all submissions. The decision of the session chairs is final, and unfortunately we are unable to provide comments on individual abstracts.
Accompanying guests and family members are welcome to join conference participants in Cambridge. Visit the registration page to view the ticket options for social events, or contact us directly if you would like any assistance or further information.
